It was 1986 that we lost Mohammad at the Shalamcheh boarder. We are waiting for him during these 32 years. My parents were died but I still waiting for him to come back and opened the door.

It was 1986 that we lost Mohammad at the Shalamcheh boarder. We are waiting for him during these 32 years. My parents were died but I still waiting for him to come back and opened the door.

Navideshahed – it was the late 2003 that the authorities announced that there is no more captive in the region and all the remained warriors would be consider as martyrs. When we talk with these kinds of families, we understood that they still are waiting for their sons, brother and fathers. Here is an interview with Miss Tarlan Mahdilou, martyr Mohammad Mahdilou's sister, she is about 70 years old and still waiting for his brother's return.

Short biography of martyr Mohammad Mahdilou

We were 3 sisters and 2 boys. Mohammad was the last child of our family. He was born in 1959. As I was older than him I was his mother and sister. He was an active boy. When he grew up, his behavior was completely changed. He had a good relationship and well behavior with my father and mother.

He left studding and found a suitable job for himself. He got married at the age of 18. He was the building painter. He bought a house in the Islamshahr and after that he moved to Karaj. During his life he had 3 children. two daughters and a son. As the sacred defense started he went to the forefront. We tried to convince him to not to go, but he did not accept and went to the forefront.

From Zahedan to Khorramshahr

He worked for the Islamic Revolution. At first he went to Zahedan then he went to Khorramshahr. Most of the time he preferred to stay at operational region.
